THE 21-DAY PRAYER GUIDE

BridgeBuilders'
state-wide intercessory network Arizona Call to Prayer urges individuals, families, and churches throughout the state to join us in
21 Days of Prayer and Fasting for "Awakening" in America, January 1-21, 2009. This period begins New Year's Day and extends through the last days of the outgoing President, the inauguration of a new President, and his first full day in office.

Never in living memory has our nation needed God more-needed our prayers more!  God's promise to Solomon is still true today:
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

The purpose is to pray for renewed spiritual passion, purpose, and purity in our own lives, then extend our prayers for awakening to our families, workplaces, churches, communities, and the nation.

It's easy to get involved.  Just choose a time you'd like to commit to each day or each week.  Reply to this email to let us know that you will join BridgeBuilders and a growing number of churches and prayer ministries across the nation in this call to prayer.  Click here to download the 21-Day Prayer Guide that we have designed to help you get started.

In addition to praying alone, as families, or in your church group, we invite you to join us in corporate prayer opportunities:
  • Prayerwalk at the Arizona state capital on Saturday, January 10 and/or Tuesday, January 12, in preparation for the opening day of the state legislature.
  • Start the Year Off Right Arizona! prayer, worship and prophetic gathering with Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets, January 16-17 at City of Grace, Mesa, AZ.  Visit www.BridgeBuilders.net for more information or to register.
  • 26-hours of continuous worship and prayer January 19-20 at Living Streams Christian Church led by Daniel Brymer and local worship teams.  We'll pray during the closing hours of the current administration and as the new President takes office. For more information, click here.
  • AZPray Non-stop Prayer in Arizona.  Lite the Fire will continue to facilitate the weekly transfer of the torch of prayer through 2009.  The torch passes each Friday evening at 7:00 pm and includes a time of corporate worship and prayer at the receiving church.  Go to www.LitetheFire.org weekly to see current locations.
