MINISTRY PURPOSE

BridgeBuilders Int’l Leadership Network

Vision:

To see the Church transform cities, and nations from spiritual darkness

to spiritual awakening, revival, and reformation

If My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face

and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land

(2 Chronicles 7:14).

Mission:

Advancing prayer, revival, and city transformation

  • Mobilize the Church in united fervent prayer and worship
  • Foster spiritual renewal among Christian leaders
  • Call the Church to biblical unity
  • Encourage Christian leaders to partner in initiatives to advance God’s kingdom on earth
  • Strengthen Christian leaders to fulfill their God-given call

To accomplish the Mission/Goals, BridgeBuilders is:

  1. Convening statewide and national prayer and worship gatherings to bring renewal to the body of Christ and to invite the presence of God to Arizona and the nation (such as PrayerQuake and Start the Year off Right).
  2. Providing one and two-day intensives, coaching, and prayer resources to equip pastors and prayer leaders to mobilize prayer in the local church
  3. Writing and publishing resources for Church leaders such as The Prayer Saturated Church, a manual for pastors and local church prayer leaders; Prayer Saturated Kids, equipping and empowering children in prayer; and God in the Foundations of Arizona Government.
  4. Hosting invitational luncheons to help business leaders fulfill their God-given call
  5. Maintaining a weekly presence of prayer and worship at the state capitol and providing one-on-one personal prayer for state and national Arizona legislators
  6. Holding Solemn Assemblies at the State Capitol to entreat God’s mercy for the state and nation
  7. Distributing Call to Prayer Alerts to inform Arizona Christians in how to pray for on-going and urgent concerns for the state and nation
  8. Conducting strategic statewide prayer journeys
  9. Building relationships with pastors and governmental leaders on both sides of the US/Mexico border in AZ, CA, NM, and TX, for the purpose of raising up prayer for border concerns such as illegal crossings, drug smuggling, human trafficking, sex trade, violence; and collaborating for godly solutions to these problems.
  10. Speaking in local churches, conferences, and gathering of leaders to share what God is saying to the Church today.

Why What We do Matters

“The man who mobilizes the Christian Church to pray will make the greatest contribution in history to world evangelization.”  (Pastor and Missionary Andrew Murray)

In addition:

  • Prayer is the medium through which God bestows blessing (Matt. 7:11; Dan. 9:3).
  • The presence of the Holy Spirit, activated through prayer, releases power to the saints to do the work of the ministry.
  • Prayer rooted in God’s Word is essential to victory over the forces of evil (Eph. 6:12-18).
  • Prayer is the priority for transforming our nation. Biblical accounts (such as Nineveh) and current history (such as Cali, Colombia and Uganda) evidence that prayer coupled with humility and repentance are the ingredients for changing a nation (2 Chronicles 7:14).
  • Prayer-saturated churches are capable of transforming their communities.
  • Many churches need help identifying and equipping a designated person to promote and mobilize prayer initiatives within the congregation.
  • Pastors, governmental leaders and all others in places of authority in society who pray and are prayed for are more likely to succeed in their mission (1 Tim. 2:1-4).

“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.” (Revivalist A.T. Pierson)
