To see the Church transform cities,

to spiritual awakening, revival, and

people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My
face
and turn from their wicked ways, then I will
hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land
(2
Chronicles 7:14).

Why What We do Matters
“The man who mobilizes the Christian Church to
pray will make the greatest contribution in history to world
evangelization.”(Pastor and Missionary
Andrew Murray)
In
addition:
Prayer is the medium through which God bestows blessing (Matt. 7:11; Dan. 9:3).
The presence of the Holy Spirit, activated through prayer, releases power to the saints to do the work of the ministry.
Prayer rooted in God’s Word is essential to victory over the forces of evil (Eph. 6:12-18).
Prayer is the priority for transforming our nation. Biblical accounts (such as Nineveh) and current history (such as Cali, Colombia and Uganda) evidence that prayer coupled with humility and repentance are the ingredients for changing a nation (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Prayer-saturated churches are capable of transforming their communities.
Many churches need help identifying and equipping a designated person to promote and mobilize prayer initiatives within the congregation.
Pastors, governmental leaders and all others in places of authority in society who pray and are prayed for are more likely to succeed in their mission (1 Tim. 2:1-4).
“There has
never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin
in united prayer.” (Revivalist A.T. Pierson)
